Can one voluntarily register as a sex offender even if not one?

This is an interesting approach. It will anger people unfortunately. But it is tad insane that an 18 year old who loves a 17 year old can be put on it, if people complain. The law wasn't thought through, it was just flung out without any true regard. You need to think parameters making a law like this, otherwise you make stupid mistakes like this.
