What is the best real estate company to work for?

I just got my real estate license. It is a new career for me and I need to be able to do well. I'm a quick learner with training. I don't just want to be thrown out on my own and left to swim with a lot of internal competition and yet I do want a company that is not going to dictate my every move. I'm thinking of re-max but wanted some opinions. I live by Houston, Texas.
